We at Monteney are passionate about the mental health and emotional wellbeing of all our children and it is our aim to support children through difficulties and challenges they may have. By taking a whole school/whole community approach we can work together to improve everyone’s mental health and wellbeing.
On a day to day basis the zones of regulation help our children to identify their emotions and the strategies they can use to support themselves to self-regulate. Children are given support from all members of staff to help them with this process and these tools and strategies can be implemented and followed up at home.
For children who are finding life that little bit trickier we have interventions provided by our pastoral team to support children with their emotional wellbeing. Our pastoral team will also liaise with families as and when required. (For interventions currently being offered please see below).
If you wish to speak to a member of our team with regards to any concerns you may have relating to your child or yourself please do not hesitate to contact us.
